Jorkil & Samantha's Wedding Dinner @ Hei Loi Tang Restaurant @ 28/05/2010

Finally, the big day of Jorkil & Samantha have finally come. But this time, we had to attend the dinner then only we have the tea ceremony on the next day.


I went to Sam's house to photograph the make-up session. Too bad it was a raining day, I mean, heavy rain, no sunshine at all. You can see the outside was totally dark at 5pm.

Jorkil & Samantha Outdoor Shooting @ Taman Tasik Perdana @ 23/05/2010

I've never organized an outdoor portrait shooting before in my life. But few weeks before my cousin - Samantha's wedding, I organized a small group (hell yeah, our noob Canon buggers group :D) shooting with Jorkil & Samantha. It just like a pre-wedding shooting, I chose a popular location for pre-wedding shooting - Taman Tasik Perdana a.k.a KL Lake Gardens. Date set, location set, jalan!


I really got 0 experience for this kind of shooting, I don't know how to pose model, don't know to instruct model, all looking at me like a boss = =". Thankfully Jor & Sam is creative enough to pose themselves haha. I still remember this location, the bridge was full of mosquitos lol. My Nissin doesn't support HSS, still able to use F/2.8 with flash. 2 flashes were used.

P/S: I wanna thank both of you for giving me chance to make it happen. Thanks Canon Buggers for joining me the shooting lol. The shooting only last for 3 hours due to the very hot day, sorry model, I hope Jorkil won't kill me :P

Johnny's Birthday Celebration @ Kissaten @ 18/05/2010

Occasionally, jimui gang do have gathering / birthday celebration once in a while. This time is Johnny's birthday celebration. Puchong area is always our preferable location cuz it is convenient for everybody and also too many restaurants that we haven't tried before :P. This time someone suggested Kissaten @ IOI boulevard, so here we are...
