Restoran Face to Face Noodles House @ Damansara Perdana

Recently, Joleen asked me about the Lat Jiu Pan Mee at Damansara Perdana, but I totally have no idea where it is. So I Google it and found some bloggers blogged about it. I got the address and realized it is nearby the Friendster restaurant inside Damansara Business Centre at Damansara Perdana. I drove slowly and finally found it nearby the 7-11.

The name of the shop is Restoran Face to Face Noodles House. This shop not only sell lat jiu pan mee (chili pan mee). In fact, it sells various type of pan mee, either soup or dry.

Although it sells many types of pan mee, but I still want to try the spicy pan mee. Unlike the famous chilis pan mee - Kin Kin Pan Mee in KL, this chili pan mee comes with 2 size, Medium and Large. For me, I definitely ordered the large 1 XD

I also ordered a side dish - Fried Dumplings. RM3.50 for 5 pieces.

Conclusion, the shop lost to chili. No matter how many spoons of chili I put, it's still not as spicy as the Kin Kin chili pan mee. I can tasted the difference because I have just been to Kin Kin chili pan mee 2 weeks ago. I still remembered I ate 2 bowls of chili pan mee at Kin Kin, it burnt my stomach until that night. Maybe next time should try some other type of pan mee :)

Singapore Trip - Day 4 @ 14/11/2007

Last day, it's time to go home. We checked out at 12pm and took MRT straight to Harbourfront. We reached there at 1pm and since the bus will depart at 2pm, we decided to take a walk in Vivo City.

There is a park outside Vivo City at 3rd floor. We walked out and saw some pools, Sentosa Island, harbour, and a very nice view.

A classic Chinese boat??

A kid playing in the pool.

Though the water is not clean, some people still played in it.

Sentosa Island.

A chocolate merlion.

The bus has come. It's time to go. That is the building where people can take cable car to Sentosa Island.

The so called "lounge" inside the Aeroline bus lol

Yes, looks familiar? We reached Corus Hotel a bit late due to the traffic in KL. After dinner at food court, we shopped awhile in Isetan and went home separately. Anyway, Singapore is a nice country, hopefully can travel to more countries in the future :)

Singapore Trip - Day 3 @ 13/11/2007

Day 3 - a very important day - Linkin Park concert at night XD. After breakfast, we moved to our 1st destination - Raffles Place. This place is a beautiful and busy town. You can see many banks such as Standard Charted, Maybank, and UOB bank right outside the exit of the Raffles Place's MRT station. I knew there are alot of statues in this place.Without wasting any min, I asked some people to find out the exact location. On top of that, I realized that Singaporeans always give the wrong directions, at least 3 times within this 4 days trip. We walked to behind of Maybank and finally saw the Singapore river and some statues.

A very unique statue outside the Standard Charted Bank.

Cavenagh Bridge near Singapore River.

Singapore River.

Some cool statues near Singapore River. "Oh I see, ok."

Another shot of Singapore River.

Statue of Sir Stamford Raffles - Singapore's founder - stands tall and proud in the form of a dark bronze status in front of the Victoria Theater.

After a few shots at Raffles Place, it's time to walk to Merlion Park which is not far from Raffles Place. I'm not sure what building that is, but it's kinda cool, isn't it?

The Fullerton Hotel and HSBC.

The small merlion.

Eye On Singapore??

Construction site. Should be the new casino at Marina Bay Sands.

The big merlion.

We headed back to Raffles Place after the visit of Merlion Park. Saw some nice cars - BMW Z8/Z9 ??

Subaru Impreza and Porsche.

OMFG! It's Lamborghini =.="

Oh really??

Small birds.

Huge bird.

After the walk, we both were hungry and had lunch at nearby restaurant in a shopping mall. Around 4pm, it's time to move to the stadium :D. After we reached the Singapore Indoor Stadium, we took a little walk around the stadium. That's a bridge that links to opposite place, a lot of apartments there.

Another shot.

We started queuing at 5pm++ and the gate opened at 7pm++. The 1st thing we did was used our turbo and rushed to the main hall. The show supposed to start at 8pm but they started at 9pm sharp zzz. This is the 1st song called Wake.

DJ - Mr Hahn and Vocalist - Mike Shinoda

Another vocalist - Chester Bennington

Another shot of Mike

I managed to record 11 songs from the concert. This is "What I've Done".

"In The End"

"Shadow of The Day". For more videos, please click here. They performed 21 songs and the show ended at 10:30pm. After the noisy sound from the band, there is some noisy sound from our stomach, yes we were hungry. We then walked back to Geylang and looked for porridge with frog because we heard Geylang is famous of that.

We finally found a restaurant that serves this porridge with frog. There are few types of flavour and we ordered the spicy one - "Gong Bo". Spicy but really delicious and almost burnt my mouth. After finish eating, we can't wait to get back to hotel and Zzz (after bath)...In fact, this is the most tiring day of the trip.

Singapore Trip - Day 2 @ 12/11/2007

Day 2, after breakfast at the nearby restaurant, it's time to go shopping. Today, we went to shopping mall in City Hall, Orchard road, and Chinatown. We ended up with nothing because the clothes and other stuff are almost the same price in Malaysia after conversion to RM. Anyway, this is another tiring day.

The small fountain inside a shopping mall. It will change to different color in every few mins.

A small cool fountain inside a shopping mall near the City Hall.

A church located at outside the City Hall MRT station.

Paragon shopping mall near Orchard Road.

A complex located outside the Chinatown MRT station.

Some shots of building in Chinatown.

Singtel. Singapore's largest telecommunications company.

MingKAI @ beautiful overhead bridge near Chinatown.

Chinatown. Not much things to buy, Petaling Street better lol.

Random shot.

Kent & me. We met up @ Chinatown and had dinner together. He ordered a lot of food for us and we blow water until 8pm++. He told me that it's not bad working and living in Singapore. Salary is quite high and living standard is quite low. Can be considered in the future. After dinner, we went back separately and another day is gone.

Singapore Trip - Day 1 @ 11/11/2007

Finally, today is the day to Singapore. Yes, I'm pretty excited cuz I waited for this day long time ago. This is my 1st time travelling to other country without my family. Not only for vacation, but also to see my idol Linkin Park, it is a very indescribable feeling. Ok, cut the craps, continue to Day 1. I didn't take much photo in Day 1 cuz very tired and most of the time we rested in the room.

At the rest stop.

Reached Harbourfront around 1pm++. Took a photo with Star Gemini Cruise.

After we had lunch @ Harbourfront, we took MRT to Kallang and then walked to Hotel 81 Hollywood, Geylang. Yes, we stayed in Geylang, but don't think anything else please lol. The room is small, but clean, neat and cheap. This is the view taken from the room.

This is another Hotel 81 just opposite the hotel I stayed. We reached the hotel around 4pm++ and that time was really exhausted. At night, we just simply ate at the nearby restaurant. When we walked back after dinner, we saw a bunch of prostitutes standing right in front of the entrance of this hotel. I nearly forgot that day was Sunday lol. Most of them were China girls, they were sexy, fair skinned, even Joleen said "Walao, really cun le". This was my 1st experience of seeing this kind of scene. Maybe because I have never been to Chow Kit at night :P
